I have tried a lot of eye masks in the past (weighted, cooling, leather, ones that don't lay on the eye) and this one is by far the best! I was skeptical of the price, but it is definitely worth it.

I work outside 6 days a week in the elements. Sun damage is inevitable. However, this summer I have used these sleeves every day. My arms have no sun damage at all. They also help cool me down. The Best Buy of the summer!

I really like these! I wanted silk masks to help with my skin (mask-ne, its real). They feel great and are comfortable to wear and easy to breathe in. Look cute too! The ear straps adjust, which is great. Delivery was pretty quick, too.

The real deal: 100% genuine silk inside and out

This is the real deal. It is expensive because it is actually made from Mulberry silk (Mulberry silk is made exclusively from the cocoons of silkworms fed on organic mulberry leaves). Silk is extremely gentle on hair. I have Zimasilk scrunchies. I embraced the return of scrunchies a couple years ago. I didn't expect there to be much difference in performance, but the silk absolutely beats out any other material when it comes to not tugging at the hair or drying it out. Never gets tangled up. So given that great experience, I needed to try their sleep cap, as I currently use a faux silk (polyester) cap to protect my middle of back, semi wavy semi curly hair.Unlike the standard sleep cap, there is no tense elastic all around. There is just elastic at the back, and more of a turban style twist at the front (so no indentation marks left behind). It is comfortable.. BUT..Well, it didn't stay on my head all night. It could be because I tossed and turned, it could be that my head is huge and there wasn't much additional room. Not sure.My head measures 23.75"- that is a large cranium. I also have a lot of hair. So between the two, I maxed out the cap. You can see it in my pictures :(If you have a smaller head (I bet you do), and either shorter hair, or less thick hair, then I wager this will stay on.If the company could add the min/max head fit, that would be helpful to would-be buyers.Even though the fit wasn't right for me for sleeping, I am actually more inclined to use it as a liner for my knit hats come winter. Sounds weird, but I wear a knit hat the moment it gets chilly (Oct/Nov) and all the way into Spring. I wear it inside and out, from morning until night. Many times I have wanted to find a liner for my hats so I didn't dry hair out worse, or tangle it up worse. I always tuck my hair up, which means all of it is getting roughed up in the hat. So long as the knit cap doesn't slid off, I will be doing this come winter. I'm excited to try it out.And if I didn't use it for that, then simply as a way to keep my hair back all day when I am in the house would work for me too. It is comfortable and fancy looking (and feeling!)Everything about the presentation is luxurious and special. I am extra impressed with how it is packaged. It comes in a slim sturdy classy feeling box with an attached lid (you'll want to keep it to store your cap, or for use for something else). The cap is wrapped in tissue that it held together by a sticker. It just has a look of pampering. The cap I have is in the color, "light plum" which is a very faint purple-pink color.

Love!

This is the best thing I never knew I needed for my hair. I don't know how I've gone this long without it. I no longer have to to spend hours styling my wavy, fine, frizzy hair. I do a basic blowout with a paddle brush, then twist it in the back and stuff in this cap and go to sleep. No hot irons needed. My hair is so smooth in the morning. And as soft as it is, it never ever slips off during the night. For nights that I'm not washing my hair, I wear it in the shower with a wide headband over the front to hold it back to wash my face. I'm going to order more in different colors.

Exactly what I wanted

I have to use a CPAP machine, and I would wake up every morning with frizzy hair sticking up everywhere from the headgear. I thought maybe wearing a silk sleep cap would protect my hair from the friction, and it worked! Now my hair looks great in the morning. This cap is large enough I can even pull it forward enough to protect my face from the headgear, too, so I don't wake up with indentations on my cheeks. The fabric is luxuriously smooth and thick, but it "breathes"; I'm menopausal and get overheated very easily, so I was worried the cap would make me too hot, but it doesn't at all. And the elastic in back in covered, so that it doesn't irritate my skin. I don't mind being seen in it, either. While I didn't really care how it looked, it's cute; it looks like a turban that actresses in old movies would wear. I'm so pleased with this cap, I'm going to order another in a different color.

No more rats nest!

I learned from my hairdresser that we can develop multiple cow licks on our scalp as we age. Lucky me I now have 4 cow licks behind my head and counting, causing the rats to move in, in droves, I guess because I am a restless back sleeper. Well, for over a year, I would wake up with a huge rat's nest on the back of my head, causing all kinds of frizz, tangling, and breakage. I envisioned myself being a bald old lady and was racked with concerns. Six months ago I bought a silk pillow case, which helped some, as the rats nests weren't so big or as often, but I still had breakage and tangles.I bought this silk hair cover and I am thrilled to say that it completely eliminated my tangles!!!This product is a life saver! I cannot recommend it enough. It runs quite large. I wish they had offered 3 sizes.

What does Momme mean?

Instead of thread count, silk fabrics use momme – i.e. fabric weight to measure the quality of silk fabrics. Momme weight describes the weight of 100 yards of silk, 45 inches wide, in pounds. Higher momme means there are more strands of silk per 100 yards of fabric, therefore making the product heavier. So if we weigh that fabric, and say it’s 19 pounds, the momme would be 19-momme. The higher the momme, the higher quality and more durable the fabric is. Momme can range anywhere from 11-momme to 25-momme.
