I bought a pair for my wife, because all she had was cotton and flannel, and she had never had silk anything. I wanted to spoil her, and I did! This is thick, luxurious, she loves how it feels on her (and I love how it feels on her, too :-)

For Christmas I bought my fiance two pair of satin pajamas and then found these real silk pajamas so I got them too. They are definitely much more expensive but I thought they would make a nice gift, something she would never buy for herself. The satin ones came first and she loved them. I thought i should have just stopped there and saved the money but, since I already had them ordered, I figured she might as well try them out. These silk pajamas have a much more comfortable and substantial feeling texture but the biggest difference is that they breathe so much better. She doesn't sweat at night when wearing them. She's planning to buy another set.

Wow, I never want to sleep in cotton or another fabric again! Just purchased these in two different styles from LilySilk, and have had the first nights ever of total full-night sleep comfort. Not waking up chilly, or (even more importantly) with damp jammies that I'd want to get up to change in the wee hours before dawn. Just perfect, full nights of wonderful, comfortable sleep.I hesitated to spend these prices on myself for sleepwear, and now have to say that sleeping all night in total comfort is .... just priceless. Closet clearing! Today taking out all my nice 100% cotton sleepshirts and pajamas, to wash and donate.Did I mention? I Love the colors.As to the sizing, I'll echo some others in saying that the pants are a tad on the shorter side, falling not all the way to the floor. I'm 5'3, 105 lbs, 29" inseam and I ordered size S in both... The waists are a bit snug with fairly firm elastic which could be sewn in looser given that they also have lovely silk drawstings that can be tightened as desired by the wearer. The tops are totally comfortable, nice size and style, no real stretch across the shoulders. But as mentioned, I have had the most heavenly full nights of sleep ever since these arrived. I've got fairly broad shoulders for my build and have been sleeping in total comfort, and I'm entirely and ecstatically pleased with these purchases! Love them.

There was a bit of an industrial smell, so I washed them before wearing, which got rid of it.Beautiful presentation box! Also seem well made. Maybe a gusset in the crotch area might be good, as those seams get very stressed, and a gusset would also allow motion better.Overall, very pleased with them.
