I hate how expensive these are but they are worth the price IMO. As long as you don't lose any (I've already lost one and at this price I'm so mad at myself).I have long hair that is very dry, coarse, and thick. It tangles easily and even tangles around hair scrunchies. I also hate sleeping with my hair down and prefer to tie it back overnight. So I was very interested in these silk scrunchies hoping my hair wouldn't get tangled up in them.I am pleased to report that I can easily remove these from my hair the next morning. I prefer these smaller sized ones compared to their larger counterparts, as I believe they hold better in my hair. I have more control over how tight or loose I want them to be. I also haven't had any issues with them breaking or losing their elasticity. Granted that could be because I am EXTRA delicate handling them because of how pricey they are. Not exactly something I can afford to replace often.But overall these have performed exactly as I had hoped. I've been using them for several months now just to be sure they'd last before writing this review. These have definitely been an investment worth making as they've improved the quality of my sleep and haven't damaged my hair.

I never go anywhere without one of these! My baby likes to pull and play with hair, so I always have my hair up with one of these. My super fine hair never gets caught in these the way it does in regular hair ties. I'm not going to say it has prevented damage because my baby still reaches up and grabs handfuls of hair so my hair is still broken, but it does hold my hair in place in the motorcycle and doesn't get all tangled up when I take it down.

Not really a scrunchie, it's an elastic covered in silk. Basically a very, very gentle way to pull your hair up or back. Great for sleeping. Used for a bun, will help shape damp hair into waves. I've switched entirely to these and invisibobbles, and my hair a) is super healthy b) has no ponytail lines.I should give four stars since the light colors get dirty fast, and wear down, and they're expensive, but I have yet to find anything better as a casual hair tie. If you know a substitute for these, please comment!

Absolutely this is worth the price! Slip uses 22 momme silk which is a nice thickness. The silk is extra gentle on your hair. It will not crease your hair or crimp it. So you can work out and pull your hair back and when you take down your hair you won't have pony tail hair! It will also not damage of pull your hair. It has not stretched out at all and I use it daily. Pair this with a slip pillowcase and cut down on tangles are night. Love these!

There are a lot of silk-like hair ties out there now, but these are by far the best. They are perfect for sleeping in and don't pull my hair at all. They also don't leave a noticeable dent in the hair if I take my hair down mid-day. The only time I would choose a different hair tie is for working out when I need a little extra "hold" but otherwise, these are hands down my go-to for day to day use.
