I have super thick hair and it's very long. I e always hated using heat on it because I don't want to damage my hair. It gave me exactly what I wanted. Beautiful big curls. I'm sure if I mess with the pattern of how to wrap it I can make different style curls too. Don't second think getting this item! It's affordable, cute, and IT WORKS. I have long and THICK hair. I've search my entire adult life for a heatless curler that isn't tight little ringlets that are cute on little girls. THIS IS IT. When I use this my hair is curled and bouncy and soft. I LOVE THIS and have used it 2x a week since I received it cause it is so easy, no more than 10 minutes to put it in and less than 1 to take it out. it can be used on damp or dry hair and I enjoy it both ways. My search is over. love this.

My hair does not hold curl whatsoever with curling irons or wands even with all the hairspray and these curls are after 13 hours of ER nursing!!!Super easy to apply. Get your hair damp. I wet my brush and brushed through until it was damp all over and then sprayed with it's a 10 spray.After I applied I actually twisted the tube tighter and secured the ends of the tube together with another hair tie under my chin so it would hold the curls tighter.Next morning I took it out, brushed through, and applied Moroccan oil and hair spray and rocked my curls alllll day long!!!!

I am a licensed hair stylist and am very conscious of heat damage, especially on highlighted hair, which all three of my teen daughters have. I was skeptical, but because they all want to curl their hair EVERY DAY, it was worth the try. It works best on thick hair when it is almost totally dry, just barely damp - with a light squirt bottle. Fine hair can be a bit wetter. If you twist hair slightly while winding, it will have a corkscrew effect. If you wind it flat, with space between the hair, it is a loose beach wave. It's nice to have variety.We've noticed the curls stay better through the day (and through dance practice and sweaty walks home) than with an iron. This is a life saver, not only for busy mornings before school, but for long term hair integrity. It's decently comfortable to sleep in and even my 11 year old can put it in by herself. Simple, easy, awesome. I'm ordering another.

Works well. The longer you leave it on the better. In the pic I had used a brush to make my hair damp and then used some sea salt spray and wrapped my hair. I slept on it overnight and it came out great. When I've tried to do it in a couple hours like the directions said it doesn't dry and hold like it does overnight.
